Since last Thursday, curious folks can try their luck right in the city center. At the former Monsieur Tee Shirt shop, a 50 m² space fully dedicated to lost packages has just opened. After making waves in La Rochelle, Colis Perdus (simple and effective) has set up shop in Bordeaux. What's the deal? Internet orders that were never received by their recipients are sold by weight after being picked up by specialized independents.

It's impossible to know what's inside! Customers can touch, shake, and play with the packages... but opening them before purchase is a big no-no. The surprise factor is what makes this concept so exciting: for both buyers and managers, each package can hold a delightful surprise... or not.
The price is based on weight, averaging €3.50 for 100 grams. The packages range from tiny parcels to big boxes, with about a hundred kilograms of stock refreshed every week.
Buy a mystery package by the kilo
Before 2022, these undelivered packages were often destroyed by the carriers. But a new law has now banned their destruction, promoting resale in a more responsible and anti-waste manner.
These stocks are then purchased by professionals who bring them back into circulation as mystery sales.

Since it opened, some packages have already revealed some fantastic finds: a watch worth €500, Adidas sneakers, a connected speaker, and even AirPods have already been discovered.
