About 3h15 of driving from Bordeaux, in the Louron valley, Balnéa has established itself as a modern thermal spa reference over the last 20 years. Set at the foot of the mountains, with a breathtaking view, the center offers a unique relaxation experience that blends thermal waters, themed spaces, and stunning views of the Pyrenees peaks.

When relaxation faces the mountains
Opened in 2000, Balnéa was the first thermal water relaxation center in the Pyrénées. It uses naturally warm water from nearby hot springs to feed its many pools.

The complex features several areas inspired by different bathing traditions from around the world: the Roman baths, with heated indoor and outdoor pools, the Native American space, focused on relaxation and nature, the Japanese baths, offering stunning mountain views, the Tibetan area, dedicated to deep relaxation, and a family-friendly space.
Some outdoor pools allow you to soak facing the snow-capped Pyrenees in winter or the lush green mountains in summer, making this experience a true highlight of the place.

A wellness destination all year round
Thanks to its naturally warm mineral-rich waters, Balnéa welcomes visitors and wellness seekers looking for relaxation, sports recovery, or a soothing break. The center, located by the Génos-Loudenvielle lake, also offers saunas, hammams, body treatments, and massages along with aquatic activities for children.

Nestled right next to the ski resorts of the Louron valley, Balnéa has become a must-visit spot after a day in the mountains. Some resorts even offer packages that include ski passes + access to Balnéa, so you can wind down after your skiing adventure!
