The Seven Seas Explorer in Bordeaux in the Port of the Moon
The Seven Seas Explorer arrived this morning at around 9am in the Garonne River and will depart tonight, leading to the closure of the Chaban-Delmas Bridge. This impressive Italian ship has 10 decks, 375 luxurious suites, and can accommodate 750 passengers taken care of by a crew of 548 people. The boat has everything needed to create a journey in luxury: pool, jacuzzis, spa, gourmet restaurant, 8 dining rooms, liquor and cigar cellar, casino, jogging track, fitness center... The extravagance is evident on this giant cruise ship. Decorated with attention to detail and sophistication, the Seven Seas Splendor is a work of art from bow to stern that attracts a wealthy American clientele.

Remarkable (and feared) stops
During its previous visit a year ago, the Seven Seas Explorer caused a giant wave at the confluence of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, causing significant damage due to its speed. This morning's arrival went smoothly. Recently, the company made a big splash by launching its "World of Splendor" cruise for the "modest" sum of 1.6 million euros for two. Passengers will have to pay between 91,000 and 840,000 euros per person for the Regent suite.
