The 4th edition of Run For Planet in Bordeaux
Everyone, get ready! The most eco-friendly race is coming back next summer. As usual, it will kick off in Bordeaux before heading to the capital, Lyon, and Nantes. For the people of Bordeaux, the date is already set for Sunday, June 2nd at Bois de Thouars in Talence.
With the goal of raising awareness among the general public and businesses about environmental, ethical, and social issues, it will also be available to follow online worldwide. Last year, nearly 1000 runners from Bordeaux joined in the fun.

2 course options suitable for all levels
Participants have the choice between 2 courses suitable for everyone: a 5km walk or run, untimed, and a 10km timed run. Since its creation in 2021, the Run for Planet supports associations that prioritize environmental concerns in their actions.
All profits are donated to the 5 associations: Sea Shepherd France, L214, Médecins du Monde, Lpo, and Planète Urgence, totaling nearly €21,000 in donations in 2023. Since its inception, €46,000 in donations have been collected!
Sports for the Environment
Organized by Ethics Event, the event makes every effort to minimize its ecological footprint. In this spirit, several measures have been taken such as no finisher T-shirts - unnecessary and polluting plastic goodies, 100% French medals made of protected solid wood, bibs with recycled chips, and organic, local, and seasonal refreshments.
The atmosphere at the event is vibrant thanks to the eco-friendly village with a variety of activities focused on ecology and civic engagement. Look out for the Climate Fresco and the French-made Photobooth to capture memories of this lovely day.
