The famous ranking of the best and worst Uber ratings in France is out. The verdict? French passengers received a very good average rating of 4.84/5, while the average rating of tourists passing through France is 4.79/5! This goes against the stereotype that French people are not friendly. In fact, the French rating has increased, from 4.78/5 the previous year. These average ratings are even impressive in almost half of the cities in our ranking, where passengers received an average rating higher than 4.87/5! The top cities in France are Perpignan in first place with an average of 4.9/5, followed by Toulon (4.895/5) and Strasbourg (4.89/5).classement notes uber france bordeaux

What about Bordeaux?

In Bordeaux, politeness doesn't seem to be as obvious as elsewhere. Our dear Girondin city receives (only) a rating of 4.82, placing it in 9th position. A place right before last, just behind Lyon (4.83) and ahead of Paris (4.81/5). Despite higher scores than in 2022, the three cities still rank at the bottom of the list.

To receive a good rating, it is advisable to follow these three tips: be polite and respectful towards the driver and their vehicle (for example, avoid slamming the car door or putting your feet on the seats). Then, drivers recommend being on time and at the right location for pick-up (because nobody likes to wait and waste time). Lastly,n, and quite logically: do not drink, eat, or smoke in the back of the vehicle (because spilled soda and mayo on the seat do not magically disappear at the end of the ride). Just so you know, a driver's or passenger's overall rating is displayed as an average based on their recent rides.
