Through more than fifty events, the City and its partners are offering an eclectic program: the return of the open-air ice rink, a Christmas market at Quinconces, monumental mappings, shows, concerts, and solidarity initiatives will liven up these six weeks of festivities.
1. Glide on the open-air ice rink in the alleys of Tourny
Back after a ten-year absence, the ice rink made from recycled polyethylene opens on November 22, accompanied by community chalets and sweet treats.
2. Admire the lights across the city
From November 28 to January 4, Bordeaux lights up every evening until 1 AM, with 100% LED lighting, extended all night on December 24 and 31.

3. Discover the Quinconces Christmas Market
Inaugurated on November 28 at 6 PM, the market returns with creators, gift ideas, a big wheel, and 10 rides until January 4.
4. Step into the magic of the Arlette Gruss Circus
Its tent will be set up in Quinconces Square from December 19 to January 25, for an unmissable enchanting appointment.

5. Join the official launch of the festivities
On December 6th at 6 PM, in Place de la Comédie, Bordeaux kicks off the celebrations: choir, musical procession, lighting of the Glass Tree, and the first mapping of the season.
6. Enjoy the projections on the Grand-Théâtre
Every evening from December 6th to January 4th, from 5:30 PM to midnight, Limelight transforms the façade of the Grand-Théâtre.

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in December (specific dates: 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21), a poetic mapping lights up the west façade of the cathedral from 6 PM to 10 PM.

From December 6 to January 4, this artwork made of recycled glass and steel by Arnaud Lapierre shines every day from 7 AM to 10 AM and then from 4:30 PM to midnight.

On December 13th at 7:30 PM, the Grand-Parc event hall will come alive with Brazilian rhythms. Tickets available on-site or online.
20. Bargain at the Big Christmas Supermarket at the Pola Factory
On December 13th and 14th, creators, workshops, and unique items are waiting for you (Saturday from 3 PM to 9 PM, Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM).

To keep the magic going, there are more festive events lighting up the city: a Christmas meal in the senior shops (December 18), Radio Classique concerts at the Auditorium (December 18, 19, and 21), neighborhood activities in Bacalan (December 20), a Green Market at Vivres de l’Art (December 21), and a Christmas show at the Argonne animation center (December 24).
