Located on Raymond Poincaré Street, this new urban park of 9,800 m2 has been completely reimagined to provide residents with a place to stroll, relax, and socialize, with special attention to biodiversity and families.

An Old Stadium Transformed into a Neighborhood Park

Long known as the “Barron Stadium,” the vast grassy space has undergone a true transformation in recent months. Now, it's home to an urban park designed as a new green lung for Villenave-d'Ornon. Reopened to the public since early April, the site welcomes visitors every day from 9 AM to 8 PM, providing a fresh breathing space for the local residents.

Designed for families and biodiversity

Barron Park has been created to meet the needs of everyone. Visitors can enjoy accessible walking paths for those with reduced mobility, shaded areas, relaxing spaces, playgrounds for children, sunbathing spots, urban furniture, wildlife shelters, and water points.

All these facilities are aimed at making this place a new nearby oasis of freshness, perfect for sharing great moments outdoors.

Rules to preserve the tranquility of the place

To ensure the safety and calm of the park, a few rules have been put in place.Dogs must be on a leash, and owners are kindly asked to pick up after their pets. As for bicycles, they are not allowed for those over the age of 8 inside the park. There are bike racks available at the entrance for parking your bicycles.
