A new express bus Bordeaux-Blaye
This Monday, January 8, marked the start of the new express bus Blaye-Bordeaux. The new line 430 transported its first passengers from the Blaye port terminal to the Aubiers district in 1 hour and 35 minutes. It follows the Bordeaux - Créon express bus line, which started in September 2019 and has been very successful with 900 passengers using it daily.
Operating from 5AM to 9PM
The new express bus stops in the towns of Cars, Berson, Pugnac, Saint Laurent d'Arce, Saint André de Cubzac, Cubzac-les-Ponts, Saint Vincent-de-Paul, Ambarès-et-Lagrave, Sainte Eulalie, Carbon-Blanc, Lormont. In Bordeaux, the stops are at the City of Wine, Place Ravezies, and the Aubiers. The route operates from Monday to Friday, as part of the goal to target commuting

With a bus every 20 minutes during peak hours in the dominant direction (towards Bordeaux in the morning, towards Blaye in the evening), every 40 minutes during off-peak hours and every 60 minutes during low-traffic hours, it ensures a service of 51 trips per day. The total travel time is 1h35, and will be reduced to 1h25 as soon as improvements to a dedicated lane on the A10 are made. The cost of a one-way trip is €2.30 per person. In its mobility plan approved in September 2021, Bordeaux Métropole plans to implement 7 express bus lines by 2026. The next one will be operational in spring 2024, connecting Saint-Aubin-de-Médoc to Bordeaux's Saint-Jean station, serving seven municipalities over a 21 km route.
