In the heart of Bordeaux, a family home from the 18th century has turned into one of the most sought-after event spaces in the city. Maison Mandel opened its doors at the end of October 2023, after 7 months of meticulous renovation led by its owner, Marie, who lives there every day.
The venue is available for both professional and personal events: showrooms, film shoots, seminars, pop-ups, meetings, cocktails, birthdays… and even private stays thanks to its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including a master suite.
A Lively, Cozy Home with a Familiar Escape
Located at 27 rue Georges-Mandel, this charming building showcases elegant moldings, vintage floorings, warm blonde stone, and a grand staircase spread across three levels. The décor, described as « modernized bourgeois classic », blends organic materials, stylish wallpapers, and carefully selected contemporary touches. « The goal is for people to feel at home, yet away from home; I love the idea of this familiar escape », shares Marie.
The house is always rented in its entirety, allowing guests to move freely through each space, from the living room to the beautiful period conservatory extended by a 60 m² terrace. This rare flexibility makes it a true chameleon of a venue for brands and individuals alike.
The comfort of an intimate place with all the services of a grand hotel
Maison Mandel proudly presents a hybrid hospitality, sitting midway between a guest house and a luxury hotel. Optional services (catering, private chef, concierge, wellness services…) are offered through carefully selected partners. "You can host your event and stay overnight; it’s a unique offer in Bordeaux,” emphasizes the founder.
Prices start at 420€ for a half-day, depending on the setup. Whether it’s for filming, advertising campaigns, gourmet dinners, or executive meetings, this venue has already charmed a wide range of clients since it opened.

Building on its success in Bordeaux, Marie is already considering a second location, either within or outside the metropolitan area. Maison Mandel dreams of being a collection of cozy retreats, where each address tells a story while keeping that warm and precious signature: providing a space to live, just like home.
