To deal with the large number of requests from users just a week before the first round of legislative elections, the Bordeaux national police have set up a "special" bus for proxy voting right outside the police station. Since June 17, this handy mobile police station has been open every day of the week.

Just a few days before the first round, a special proxy voting bus takes up residence in Bordeaux in front of the police station. An initiative taken by the police station to accommodate the surge in requests (717,184 proxies were submitted between June 10th and 18th).

Since its opening, the bus in Bordeaux has welcomed over a thousand residents who have come to validate their proxies either online or through handwritten forms. It is open daily from 9am to 8pm, providing a convenient alternative to visiting the police station in person. The goal is to reduce waiting times and queues.

There are two possible scenarios during the process: one for those with an online proxy already completed on the maprocuration.gouv.fr website. If you are seeking validation from the mobile police officers outside the bus, simply present a valid ID (ID card, driver's license, or passport) and your request will be processed quickly. For those with a handwritten proxy, you can enter the bus and fill out a Cerfa form with the help of a friendly officer.
