From October 20 to 31, 2026, 7 Place Gambetta in Bordeaux will transform into a completely different atmosphere. For 11 days, Pocket and Mollat will open a pop-up bookstore dedicated to horror literature, with a special Halloween celebration: the visit of Franck Thilliez on October 31st.
A bookstore entirely devoted to horror
Cult classics, new releases and hidden gems: books from Pocket and 10/18 catalogs will fill the space in a specially designed setting to immerse visitors in the world of thrills. On October 23, 24 and 28, the Pocket editions team will also be on hand to share their tips and favorite picks with readers.

The festivities will even kick off this Monday, October 19 at Utopia cinema, with an opening evening featuring Bernard Minier and Laurent Queyssi, director of the Styx collection at Fleuve Éditions. Signings, discussions, a screening of a cult classic film and a debate around horror cinema and literature will punctuate the evening.

The highlight of this spooky interlude: Franck Thilliez will be present on Saturday, October 31, from 2pm to 4pm, for an exceptional signing session. The perfect way to close The Little Horror Bookshop just a few hours before Halloween night.
