After the fantastic opening of their first two locations, Monzù is excited to announce the opening of their 3rd Italian restaurant in the Chartrons neighborhood. The first service is scheduled for this afternoon!

Monzù 3 officially opens at noon!

Two and a half years after surprising the people of Bordeaux with its restaurant featuring a rooftop on the promenade Sainte-Catherine, Monzù continues its adventure. While strolling this weekend on the famous Chartrons market square, the editorial team was able to discover the team working on the final preparations. The trendiest and most coveted Italian restaurant in Bordeaux is arriving in the city's wine district taking the place of Café Soukka.

A touch of Dolce Vita in Chartrons

Still following the same recipe that combines generous French-Italian cuisine, prime locations, cocktails that pack a punch, and Instagrammable decor. Once again, Monzu plays the trendy card, both on its plates and on its walls. The new restaurant showcases the Roman era with ancient mirrors and chandeliers, a large green ceiling, and colorful artistic frescoes.

Imagine a menu filled with all your favorite classic dishes, along with some exciting new additions: mouthwatering Neapolitan pizzas with or without creamy burrata, mafaldine pasta drizzled with summer truffle, crispy focaccia piled high with parma ham and creamy stracciatella cheese, a modern twist on the traditional Caesar salad, Italian-style beef tartare, and a unique spin on Milanese escalope. Save room for dessert to enjoy our reimagined Tiramisu, luscious gelato, or signature pastries crafted in collaboration with Dumas. And don't forget to explore our wonderful selection of organic wines and local beers to make your dining experience even more special.

Wow, at the restaurant, a team of 40 people looks after the 130 indoor seats. A terrace that's half shaded and half sunny can accommodate 100 guests for this exciting culinary adventure. Monzu, born in 2019 at Grands-Hommes in Bordeaux, continues to impress with its incredible dishes. Its reputation definitely precedes it, so it's best to make a reservation in advance!
