2 chalets of food stalls ravaged by flames
Sad news. This Wednesday, the day when children are out and the Christmas market is bustling, a fire broke out in a wooden food stall, apparently linked to a deep fryer, before spreading to its neighbor. The flames started around 10 AM, just when the market was happily closed to the public. Two stalls may have been destroyed by the fire.
About fifteen firefighters quickly responded, and a significant security measure was put in place. Thankfully, there are no reported injuries. The Christmas market will remain closed until further notice.
