This Saturday, May 24th, Union Bordeaux Bègles will create a unique chapter in its history by competing in Cardiff for its very first Champions Cup final against the Northampton Saints. It's a special occasion that the City of Bordeaux and Bordeaux Métropole are excited to celebrate with enthusiasm by setting up a large fan zone on Place des Quinconces.
Opening at 1:30 PM sharp
A crowd of 20,000 passionate fans, decked out in blue, is welcome to come out and support UBB. Starting at 1:30 PM, supporters with a ticket—which can be picked up for free on the City’s website starting this Monday, May 19th, at 1 PM—will be able to access this sports gathering, with entry via the Bristol and Munich walks, right in front of the Monument des Girondins. Each person can reserve up to 6 entry tickets.

Entry Ticket, Entertainment, and Special Arrangements
The town hall announces the presence of bands, a DJ set, and refreshment stands to get hearts racing before the kick-off, scheduled for 3:45 PM. To ensure the celebration is accessible to everyone, several inclusion measures will be in place: a wheelchair access area, noise-canceling headphones for younger attendees, earplugs, and live transcription via QR code for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
The whole city will be lit up in UBB colors with flags installed on Sainte-Catherine and Porte Dijeaux streets and beautiful illuminations on iconic monuments like the Porte de Bourgogne, the Porte Dijeaux, the Porte Cailhau, the Muses of the Grand Theatre, and the Tourist Office.
