In France, the Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris remains untouchable (11th in the world ranking), followed by the Lille University Hospital (26th), the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (29th), the ELSAN Santé Atlantique in Saint-Herblain, and the Pellegrin group in Bordeaux, which becomes the 5th best hospital in France. A reference in terms of care and medical innovation.

This ranking, conducted in partnership with the polling institute Statista, is no random affair. Each year, Newsweek scrutinizes over 2,000 hospitals across 30 countries. The evaluation criteria are rigorous and based on four major axes: recommendations from medical experts (doctors, hospital directors, healthcare professionals), the results of surveys...

are conducted with patients, the performance indicators of the facilities, and finally, the use of PROMs (questionnaires that allow patients to assess the quality of care and their management).
