An oasis of well-being dedicated to sports practice and aqua leisure
For a year now, the aqua leisure complex in Cenon has been welcoming the residents of Bordeaux Metropolis to its modern and public-friendly installation (while remaining human-sized) with a 25-meter pool consisting of 6 swimming lanes, a balneo-playful pool, a paddling pool for the little ones, and a splash pad (outdoor aquatic play area) on a large grassy area for relaxing in the sun. It's like a hint of the beach in the heart of the Loret estate.
Sports, Activities, Relaxation and Well-being
In addition to the entrance fee, visitors can enjoy a wellness area with a sauna, a hammam, a sensory shower, and a Nordic bucket before relaxing in the tea room area provided for this purpose. Whether for a swimming session, a fun family outing, or a moment of disconnection for oneself... The Cenon complex aims to satisfy the expectations of as many people as possible.
The teams have also worked on a wide range of activities (from 4 to 99 years old) including - among others: aquatic garden (for 4-6 year olds), swimming lessons (starting from 6 years old), aquaphobia courses (for adults) and all kinds of aquatic fitness activities (aquabiking, aquagym, aquaboxing...). Not to mention aquagym classes specifically for pregnant women. One-week swimming courses will also be offered to children all summer long.
Open to the general public, families, users of adapted centers, schools: 600 to 700 people visit the pool every day.

Nestled in Loret, in close proximity to schools and tramway access, the complex welcomes children daily (from meternal in high school) for learning how to swim.

The only aquatic complex with a handicapped-friendly changing room
The Elodie Lorandi aquatic complex (named after the multi-titled Paralympic swimmer) draws its identity from inclusivity. It is the first swimming pool in France to have a handiroom©. Following the 2005 law, the establishment meets accessibility standards for people with disabilities and even goes further, with the obtention of the "Tourism & Handicap" label. This guarantees people a smooth and enjoyable swimming experience. It makes it a point to provide personalized assistance and accessible equipment for people with disabilities.

A pool as stunning in substance as in style
An engaged and caring positioning reinforced by its commitment to ecological transition. With an energetically efficient building, the pool is connected to the urban heating network of Hauts de Garonne to produce heat through the incineration of waste from the Cenon plant and the wood boiler in Lormont. The watering of green spaces is done with the reclaiming of pool wastewater after dechlorination.
