Fred Cavayé's camera will be setting up shop in Bordeaux and Saint-Macaire from July 17 to August 21, 2025, to shoot a new version of Les Misérables. Alongside Vincent Lindon, Tahar Rahim, Camille Cottin, Benjamin Lavernhe, Noémie Merlant, Megan Northam, and Marie Colomb, the production is actively looking for faces to bring this historical epic to life.

The profiles being sought are diverse: strong children aged 9 to 12, with blonde or brown hair, to double for the characters of Cosette or young Javert; along with men aged 35 to 65, with gray hair or distinctive features, to play a fake Valjean or a gendarme. The main role will be paid 107€ gross, while the supporting roles will be paid 418.25€ gross per day.
