Day Care (or Half-Day Care)
There are only 5 certified "doggy day care centers" in France. Cani Paradis is proud to be one of them, recognized as such by a veterinary health professional after its declaration to the DDPP.
Located in Saint-Jean-d'Illac, the center accommodates a maximum of 9 dogs (to ensure their comfort and well-being) in a "day care" format. What’s the goal for Rebecca and Arganne, the founders? "To provide day care solutions for people who leave early in the morning and come home late in the evening,” they share with us.

A Wouf Environment
Launched in August 2024, Cani Paradis quickly caught the eye of both local and national media. Behind the project are Arganne—an experienced pet-sitter working independently—and Rebecca—an educator/canine behaviorist—both of whom are passionate and highly trained in animal welfare. Among their many diplomas and training? You’ll find ACACED, CANISPIRIT, and even first aid training!
On-site, the animals have a lovely rehabilitated barn of 120 m2 and a 600 m2 outdoor area to enjoy with their friends. Everything is designed for the happiness of our furry friends: a ball pool, thousands of toys, water spots, and even a pool for some fun time splashing around. The daily daycare rate is just €25, but there are also monthly subscription packages available!
Dog training, group walks, family boarding
Alongside the daytime daycare, Cani Paradis also offers petsitting, dog training (puppy training, assessments, and individual classes to tackle specific issues), family boarding for vacations (where dogs stay like royalty in the managers' homes), group walks (by foot, canoe, or paddle), and leisure tracking (searching for hidden people in nature).or even some professional photo sessions.
Soon, the center will unveil its play library offering the chance to rent playtime toys for dogs. All furry companions are welcome at Cani Paradis, regardless of breed or if they are neutered or not. The only requirement is being sociable! To check that, the two hostesses conduct a cani-test.
More than just an airy center, it's a little paradise where every resident is treated like a family member.
