Sundae Nugget: The duality we've been dreaming of
Can't decide between ice cream and cookie? Nugget has understood this dilemma and brings together its two baking enthusiasts on one plate. Launched this summer, "Sundae Nugget" offers to enjoy on the spot or to take away 2 scoops of ice cream with pieces of cookies incorporated (of your choice à la carte) and toppings to enhance the delight. A snack available only on Sundays, for the modest sum of €7 per person.
It's the perfect opportunity for the people of Bordeaux to discover the catalog of 6 ice cream flavors from the house. Among them? The all-time favorites are obviously the "Cookie Dough", "Double Chocolate", and "Peanut and Pecan Caramel". This summer, 2 new additions have made a remarkable appearance on the menu: the "Hazelnut Spread" made with Pépite's spread (also available in a jar) and the extra creamy "Red Fruits" in reference to the frozen Petit Gervais we ate as kids.
Delicious and nostalgic recipes 100% artisanal
The Madeleines de Proust are more than ever the main inspiration of founder Hugo Bassani. Each ice cream comes from a cookie flavor. There are now 10 recipes of artisanal cookies, each telling a story. The current ephemeral flavor that warms the hearts is "Pistachio" containing a homemade praline. From comforting ice creams, to warm, ultra-soft cookies, to incredibly comforting half-baked cakes for 8 people... Pépite's menu is at the peak of creativity and comfort.
The very first boutique opened in Cap Ferret 3 years ago. By the end of September, the brand will have 8 stores. Bonnes (in Burgundy), Bayonne, and La Rochelle are the next ones to come! All the delights are prepared in a production lab located on the outskirts of Bordeaux by expert artisans before being delivered several times a week. In Bordeaux, you can find Pépite on Porte-Dijeaux street and Pas-Saint-Georges street.
