The Delicate Ceramics of By Leou
Founded by a young designer at just 24 years old, By Leou is a Bordeaux-based ceramics brand inspired by the world of fashion. Truly trendy, this inspiring label creates functional works of art that radiate with softness. The creative founder, Léa, lovingly shapes each piece by hand. Plates, mugs, ashtrays, appetizer trays, or vases... every item is crafted and decorated by Léa herself. The aesthetic is floral, pure, and delicate, reminiscent of great couture houses or home linen collections. A collection is revealed...The creations are released every month and a half or so. The next one comes out in mid-November. With a lot of precision and heart in the work, the ceramics are fired twice for 10 hours. Add to that the time for glazing and decorating. This quality craftsmanship comes at a price! On average, expect to pay €40 for a mug, which requires 4 hours of production time. In response to general demand, By Leou has launched decoration workshops with appetizers to spark creativity among friends.
