After Cap Ferret, G.Kero brings its vibrant paintings to Paris

After quickly catching the attention of the Bordelais, the brand founded in 2011 by the bubbly Marguerite and her brother Philippe Bartherotte is now settling in Paris. Specifically, in the chic 3rd district and close to the bustling rue vieille du temple, the original and generous pieces of G.Kero will be revealed in a 40 m2 gallery-like boutique. The opening is scheduled for the second week of May once the hammering is done.

When clothing becomes a work of art signed by

Marguerite Bartherotte, the painter and founder of the brand who has become a fashion designer, transforms clothing into a stylish and bold model of expression. Her canvases come to life in the form of dresses, kimonos, jackets, t-shirts, skirts, sets, or shirts that have made the brand successful, especially with the "kamasutra" model. The concept? Turning drawings into clothing collections with elegant standard cuts to be worn in any situation.

Trendy numbered pieces made in Europe

There is a spirit of freedom, lightness, and sometimes even nonchalance at G.Kero, which has established itself as a master in the French and international ready-to-wear landscape. Many celebrities have adopted these true pieces of art, all produced in limited and numbered series. From Marion Cotillard, to Charlotte Casiraghi, and across the Atlantic with Taylor Swift, the whole world falls for Marguerite's unique brushstroke.

In addition to these atypical prints - sometimes sensual, sometimes candid, but always vibrant - G.Kero shines through the quality of its cuts and fabrics. It must be said that the organic slow-fashion brand (ahead of its time in this genre) produces its collections in Europe.

Buy or Collect: 2 Ways to Experience G.Kero

There's no question of polluting Marguerite's creativity, on whom the entire empire relies. That's why the designer brand makes it a point to remain family-owned and seasonal. In this dynamic, G.Kero doesn't use advertising or have sales, but offers fair pricing and a unique profitability system. In Cap Ferret, the boutique (where you enter barefoot to be in communication with nature) is only open in spring and summer to allow the creator to work on the next collection in the best conditions. Painting is an art, and her clothes are an ode to it.

Head to Le Marais to brighten up the capital

The latest G.Kero spring/summer 2024 collection has just been unveiled and is already causing a stir for its trendy cuts, colorful clothes, and ultra-stylish ensembles. "Without a doubt, it is G Kero's most mature collection to date in terms of styles and variety of materials. We are also progressing with time," smiles Philippe Bartherotte, the brand's brother and manager.

After the Arcachon Bay, Le Marais is the next stop to infuse G.Kero's bohemian and spicy spirit, which stands out with a rather unique monopoly in the market!
