Who says you need to travel far to enjoy summer? Every year, the City of Bordeaux rolls out "My Summer in Bordeaux," an agenda designed for those staying in town. Open-air concerts, free festivals, sports workshops, shows in unexpected venues… A generous program for everyone to enjoy. Here's our pick of the 5 must-see events in August.

1. Bordeaux 3x3 International Basketball Festival on the Waterfront

Sport, entertainment, and urban vibes facing the Garonne River. For eight days, Munich Square hosts the Regional 3x3 Finals, a FIBA Women's Series tournament, and a FIBA Challenger stage. Entertainment, food trucks, concerts, and a market village round out the experience.
