Anonymity as a Playground of Freedom
In 2025, the Grand Théâtre of Bordeaux turns into a theater of elegant masks. For one special evening, everyone is invited to slip into a role, hidden behind a costume and a mask prepared just for the occasion. Throughout the night, professional dancers and members of the Opera Ballet guide participants in a celebration where the body becomes a language and the unknown a space of freedom.
Next scheduled date? This Saturday, June 14, where the Opera transforms into a ball of light, movement, and mystery. Everyone will have the chance to discover or rediscover dance, guided by seasoned artists.

3 unique dates to experience the event
Before each dance, two free introductory workshops are offered at the Musée d'Aquitaine, the event's partner. It's a great opportunity to learn the basic steps and feel ready to join in the dance.

To complete the illusion, costume elements from the opera's backstage will be available on the day of the ball, starting at 6 PM, with a reservation for a fitting time. These fittings are free, provided you have a ticket and subject to availability. The event lasts for 3 hours and the tickets are 20€ per person. Reservations can be made by phone at 05 56 00 85 95 or at the Grand-Théâtre ticket offices from Tuesday to Saturday, 1 PM to 6:30 PM.
