The arrival of spring celebrated in the open air

Isulia marks the grand return of the Spring Open Air on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at La Cité Bleue, in the Bacalan district. From 4 PM to midnight, this condensed format of the Isulia festival promises a blend of diverse energies and passionate creations, featuring concerts, artistic performances, and immersive spaces. Organized in the industrial remnants of a former refinery transformed into a cultural hotspot, the event is set to be a highlight of the season with over 1000 m2 dedicated to the celebration.

A fusion of dance, exploration, and sharing

Born in 2021, Isulia goes beyond the boundaries of a simple festival: it’s a vibrant, free, and inclusive space where creation, reflection, and engagement intertwine. Witness to artistic and societal transformations, it stands out as a laboratory of ideas and a platform for new voices in independent culture. Isulia champions a inclusive vision of celebration, where art meets meaning, and music awakens consciousness.

Designed with an eco-friendly approach, the event prioritizes short supply chains, vegetarian options, and risk reduction, featuring a team of volunteers and preventive measures to ensure a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

An exciting lineup, crafted to surprise and bring people together

Among the expected artists, the duo Belaria B2B Soyoon brings together two rising stars of the electronic scene. Belaria, a resident at Badaboum and Rinse France, weaves her sets with EBM, Italo Body Music, and atmospheric techno, all wrapped in a bold post-punk aesthetic. Alongside her, Soyoon — originally from Seoul and freshly revealed...

;played by Boiler Room — infuses her performances with a 90s rave energy and radical eclecticism, backed by residencies at Macadam and Mihn Club in Hong Kong.

Another name to follow: Salomée, resident at IBoat, who mixes hypnotic electro and luminous techno, exclusively spinning on vinyl. The local collective Heavydance, a leader in the scene...and the underground scene in Bordeaux completes the lineup with a high-intensity live performance, blending raw power and sonic freedom.

A timeless collective wave rooted in the Bordeaux scene

Isulia continues to weave its identity:  diverse, independent, inclusive, and deeply focused on the collective. Well-known among Bordeaux locals for its free and vibrant programming.Last year, the Isulia festival gathered 6,000 festival-goers, 32 artists and bands, and 45 speakers for its talks. There’s no doubt that the next edition will be just as successful (if not more!)
