Lake Hourtin-Carcans: The King of Freshwater

If there’s only one to choose, this would be it. The largest natural lake in France is a little blue gem surrounded by pine forests. On the Maubuisson side, you'll find family-friendly beaches and water sports centers. Towards Piqueyrot, you’re guaranteed a wild vibe. Paddleboarding, napping, or kayaking – anything goes!
