Summer holidays are approaching, you dream of exploring the four corners of Europe but the budget you can allocate to this trip is quite limited? For the younger ones (16-27 years old), the rail pass allows you to enjoy trips throughout France for only 49€. But good news, there is a second option to enjoy affordable trips abroad and suitable for all age groups. Thanks to a new train line, you will be able to explore 8 cities in three different countries located in southern Europe. All for less than 10€.

An offer available all summer
Hop aboard a train operated by Slovenian Railways for a getaway between Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. This line, closed for over 50 years, was reopened at the end of April as part of the European Substance Interreg Central Europe project. It is expected to remain operational until at least September 30th.
Our new experimental 🚄 connection runs every day from Villa Opicina 🇮🇹 to Rijeka 🇭🇷 via Slovenia 🇸🇮 and back.

A Journey Worthy of the Greatest Adventures
The journey starts at Villa Opicina, near Trieste in Italy, and then takes you to Sežana, Divača, Pivka, and Ilirska Bistrica in Slovenia. The path continues to Šapjane, Opatija, Matulji, and Rijeka in Croatia. The travel time? Two hours. Depending on your plans, you can either stay until the end or get off earlier to explore a city of your choice. The fare for a standard ticket is only 8 euros. If you're traveling with family, know that the journey is free for children under 6 years old and half-price for children aged 6 to 12.
