Somewhere between surfing, jet skiing, and science fiction, the eFoil has become the new water sensation of the summer. At the Lacanau lake, Efoil Expérience invites both the curious and the enthusiasts to discover this booming activity: a powered board that literally makes you fly above the water, noiselessly and without waves, simply by maintaining your balance, supported by a submerged wing and an electric battery.
.
A Flight Above Reality
Standing, sitting, or kneeling, you can ride the eFoil using a Bluetooth remote control. Once you hit the gas, the board lifts up, freeing you from any friction with the water. Get ready for amazing sensations, floating smoothly while feeling a thrilling disconnection as Max, the founder of this experience, puts it: “You have support under your feet, but your brain thinks you’re flying.” Unlike traditional surfing, eFoil is made to be accessible, even for beginners, complete with audio headphones and real-time instructions to guide every flight.
A premium collective experience
Set aboard a mini-catamaran equipped with sofas, groups of 8 people alternate between flying sessions (1 to 3 hours) and lounging on the lake. Swimming, photos, sunbathing—everything is planned for a complete experience. In the morning, we kick off with breakfast. In the evening, we toast to the sunset with drinks on board. All this starting from €130 per hour for one, €260 for two, or €560 for a 4-hour package with the boat, to share.

High-end gear and an eco-friendly vision
The boards, which cost over €15,000, are among the most high-performing on the market. Electric and silent, they provide a more sustainable alternative to traditional gas-powered equipment. Max, a former surf instructor and a passionate enthusiast since childhood, sees the eFoil as “the future of surfing”: gentler on nature and more fun for those who ride. He’s already dreaming of foiling adventures between oceans, lakes, and estuaries.
