Paint Me Up in Bordeaux: When painting becomes fun!
The concept is simple and innovative at the same time. For an evening, put on your apron, grab your paintbrush, let yourself be guided by the sharp advice of the hosts, and become an artist for the evening. A new activity that is making a splash. Paint Me Up, already well known in Paris, is now arriving in Bordeaux. Every week, the company organizes evenings in different locations to create surprise.
Behind this project, we find the smiling and warm Bryce who travels between the French capital and Bordeaux and is inundated with requests. It was during his time in Australia that he discovered the concept that intertwines wine with painting. A fan of the idea, he saw it taking off in the United States and London. So he launched it in Paris at the end of 2022. Building on his success, Bryce continues to expand in France and is now conquering the city of Bordeaux.
Good wine and aprons for an explosion of colors and flavors
His first "classic" workshop was a success on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Brique House. The idea is to reflect French culture with the key elements: Wine, Art, and the essential cheese and charcuterie board. To achieve this, Bryce carefully selects bars where the setting is just right. Hôtel Marty, la Boca Food Court, le Délirium Café... Many spots are joining the fun. It must be said that restaurateurs are seizing the opportunity to offer something unique and different to their customers.
I am hosting these painting workshops. "People naturally consume drinks and food while they paint," confides the founder.
A brush, several themed workshops
The added value of Paint Me Up lies in the richness of its offer. All workshops, lasting 2 hours, include all materials. Canvases, paints, brushes, aprons, and easels are provided. Up to 20 guests can join the adventure (30 if the location allows).

However, the workshops are different. Several concepts are offered à la carte: "the original workshop" consists of reproducing a model artwork (for 40€ per person), the "date night" offers a moment for two to paint a complementary canvas (perfect for Valentine's Day!), the "paint your pet" showcases our furry friends, and the "outdoor version" takes place outside to let creativity flow in nature.
Glow in the Dark
The most popular is the famous "glow in the dark" workshop, which takes place in partial darkness with luminescent paints specially designed to make your paintings shine in the dark! For the past few months, videos of painting workshops in the dark have been abundant on social media. A hypnotic visual and playful experience, now available at.Bordeaux for 44 euros per person (42 euros for two reserved seats and 40 euros for three seats).
