On June 7th and 8th, 2025, Château Roc de Calon will open its doors to celebrate, for one joyful weekend, the authenticity of the family vineyard and the richness of the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation. Located in Montaigne, at the highest point of Libournais, this century-old estate spans 21 hectares of contiguous land and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Libourne.

A historic estate with a remarkable view

Since 1922, four generations of the Laydis family have taken the lead at the estate, now run by the Laydis couple, who are behind the renovation of the winemaking facility and exciting future hotel projects. Currently undergoing organic conversion, the vineyard will produce certified wines starting from the 2025 vintage. Here, we exclusively craft red wines, primarily using merlot, complemented by cabernet franc. Great deal: all weekend long, visitors will enjoy a 20% discount on any bottle purchases.

A Summer Party in the Heart of the Vineyards

On Sunday, from 11 AM to 9 PM, it's all about relaxation. After a day of tastings, the Summer Party kicks off at 5 PM, right in front of the vineyards. On the agenda: DJ set, shareable platters, and the official launch of the cocktail "Nuit Pourpre", brilliantly crafted by the students of Vatel Bordeaux to enhance the Summer cuvée. This refreshing summer blend features lime, blueberries, fresh mint, crème de cassis, and lemonade, making it the perfect drink to savor the moment.
