Just a few steps from the village of Saint-Émilion, nestled in a lush green setting that has been beautifully shaped over the centuries, the Château Montlabert embodies rare elegance. Taken over in 2008 by the Castel family, the estate has regained its brilliance after 10 years of monumental work, achieving the prestigious distinction of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé in 2022. Since then, it beautifully blends winemaking heritage with modernity in a constant quest for harmony.

A domain where history breathes
An 18th-century master house, a park with classified species, an orangery, an English-style garden, and a two-century-old wisteria: here, every detail tells a fragment of history. In 2019, a high-precision winery was added to this carefully curated décor. Subtly integrated into the existing architecture, it marks a new era for the estate. The wine is produced here with meticulous attention to detail, respecting the local ecosystems.

The Art of Entertaining, in Grand Cru
Château Montlabert is not just about producing wine: it's about sharing a vision. A vision of a living place, where nature, architecture, and hospitality come together for a perfect harmony between nature, farming, and its artisans.
In 2024, the estate was actually awarded gold in the category "Architecture & Landscape" at the Best of Wine Tourism. It's a recognition for a château that reinvents the Bordeaux way of life, blending tradition with boldness.
