The Smallest Ski Resort in the Pyrenees
Nestled in the Haut-Comminges valley, the Bourg d’Oueil ski resort is the smallest in the Pyrenees. Like a little haven of peace that’s both discreet and authentic, this family-friendly resort charms visitors with its simple and relaxed atmosphere. Here, you’ll find 2 slopes (one blue and one green) that are 100% free, ready to welcome beginner skiers.
The resort, managed by a local association of residents and locals, funds itself through its ski equipment rental shop. They hope to stay open until the beginning of March, depending on the snow conditions.
€10 for a day of skiing with gear included!
The main highlight of the station is the free ski pass that makes skiing accessible and encourages mountain vacations. In a spirit of community and support, it's a local group of volunteers that keeps the station running: the valley’s residents welcome skiers and manage equipment rentals. For just €10, you can rent a complete set of gear with skis and poles (renting skis only is €5). It’s a promise for a fun snowy day at an unbeatable price!

A family-run resort with a friendly vibe in the heart of the Pyrenees
At an altitude of 1,350 meters, the area may be small, but it's just enough to enjoy some great moments on the snow, away from the crowds of larger resorts. In winter, snowfall isn't always at its best, and currently, five out of seven slopes are not open, but the essence lies in the warmth and spirit of the resort. Volunteers work hard to keep the soul of the place alive, and if the weather allows it, the toboggan run, as well as the green Fougère slope and its Costo ski lift, should be reopening soon.
Forget about grandeur, what matters here is simple pleasure that's accessible to everyone. No frills, no fuss, just a love for affordable skiing.
