Rue Rolland, right in the heart of the city, near Place Gambetta, away from the urban hustle and bustle and constant commotion, hides a unique, zen, and friendly place: "Bubbles to Float". This sanctuary of well-being has been at this new address since 2021 (after opening in 2017 on Cours Alsace-Lorraine). Julien and his team welcome you with a smile for a moment of total peace.
An hour cut off from the world
The concept? Floating in the dark, in a large bathtub topped with a capsule, filled with water five times more saturated in salt than the Dead Sea and which mechanically ensures complete flotation. A kind of water mattress without a mattress in short. And it's more likely to drown in a coffee than in this salty water. So, let yourself go, relax, fall asleep, nothing bad can happen to you. Only good things.
Your five senses are cut off, you find yourself in your bubble, with yourself, weightless and in sensory isolation. Once the hour is up, a soft music of waves crashing on the beach or the chanting of Tibetan monks by a river wake you up and bring you back to the real world...
Why do it?
Disconnect. Let go. Completely and for a moment. In the water, no smartphones and push notifications. Put your brain in airplane mode to relax, rest, maybe even meditate or stimulate your creativity. One hour of floating is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep. More effective than redbull or guronsan!
