On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Bordeaux will buzz with the rhythm of little wheels and big acts of kindness. The Munich Square, by the banks of the Garonne, will host a can't-miss event: the 13th edition of the Great Scooter Race, the largest in Europe, benefiting the fight against pediatric cancers.
.
A competition by and for kids
Open for free to all children aged 6 to 12, this festive day brings together hundreds of young participants each year, each representing a committed company. New for 2025: kids aged 11-12 are now invited to join in, adding even more solidarity to the fun.
Born in Bordeaux, the race has spread throughout the Southwest — to Toulouse, Bayonne, Lée, and Le Passage d’Agen — raising over 200,000€ since its inception for the benefit of Parent’Aide Cancer, local Cancer Leagues, and the association Koala. At each...this edition, the goal is clear: to beat the record for participation and donations, and to fight the disease with the strength of our legs and hearts.
A lively village and inspiring figures
Around the starting line, the Trotti-Village will unfold its free activities: fun workshops, agility courses, warm-up sessions like breakdance, and even the legendary trotti-mom and trotti-dad races. Kids will receive medals, certificates, and costumes to leave as true "trotti-heroes". On-site dining will be provided by Sodexo.
Local and national figures will be joining us: Vanessa Feuillatte, star dancer from the Bordeaux Opera, former Top 14 players, and the solidarity bikers. All united for the same cause!
and for thirteen years by the association Nire Laguna Thomas, the driving force behind the event.```See this post on Instagram
