A temporary garden with a café and an egg hunt is set up in Bordeaux for Easter!

In Bordeaux, spring is celebrated with family and colors: from April 18 to 21, 2025, the Promenade Sainte-Catherine transforms into a true urban garden for the return of Promenade au Parc, a free and festive event where nature, music, and creativity intertwine with poetry.

After a first edition that was a smashing success, this second edition rolls out a dreamy decor: giant poppies, oversized peonies, and a huge beehive perched on the Lego Store shake up the urban landscape to offer an unusual green oasis. An enchanting setting that serves as a backdrop for four days of free activities designed for both young and old.

Eggs, flowers, and notes of music

The festivities kick off on Friday, April 18 at 6 PM with a lively guinguette evening full of fun.ivialité : YOË concerts, Banda l’Impérial, petanque, happy hour, makeup workshops, and good vibes are on the schedule until 9 PM.

On Saturday, it's adventure time with three giant egg hunts, one of which is specially for kids under 10 years old. Little foodies will receive baskets to go on the hunt for eggs hidden around the Promenade. At the same time, there will be flower workshops, creative activities, edible gardening workshops, and private beehive tours to sprinkle throughout the day, all topped off with a live concert by the band Treets.

On Sundays, we garden, tinker, and dream in front of bouquets of dried flowers, before getting lost in the sounds of the June Souls concert. And on Monday, April 21, the little ones will find their favorite face painting workshop to wrap up the weekend with a splash of colors. Check out the whole program right here.
