Very often, thanks to the close proximity of the Balearic Islands and the very affordable flight prices, people from Bordeaux escape to the Spanish islands. Menorca and Mallorca are popular destinations for the people of Gironde. It's a great opportunity for them to discover Muro Beach, the 8th most beautiful beach in the world, which offers breathtaking landscapes.

Nestled in the northeast of the island, near Alcudia, Muro Beach stretches over 5 kilometers of fine sand, bordered by azure waters that sparkle like a mirror under the sun of what is known as "the island of 1001 faces." This iconic beach, ranked among the largest in the archipelago, is a true sanctuary of natural beauty, where fine sand, lush nature, and crystal-clear waters come together. It is part of Platges de Muro, divided into four sections, all more beautiful than the last: sectors I and II of Playa de Muro, Es Comú, and Es Capellans. All belong to the nature park.

the wetland of s'Albufera de Mallorca, the largest wetland area in the Balearic Islands.

But what truly makes Muro Beach special is the diversity of its faces. Where the beach stretches out to the sea, you'll find a lively and dynamic atmosphere, with hotels, bars, and restaurants where you can enjoy local or international specialties. A little further along, in ddirection of the natural park of S'Albufera, the protected environment reveals a wilder and more preserved nature, where migratory birds come to rest in a peaceful setting.

Muro Beach not only delights the senses with its beauty, but it also provides direct access to the history and culture of Mallorca. Just a few kilometers away is Alcúdia, a historical site with its medieval walls, and Pollença, where the Roman theater showcases the island's ancient heritage.
