2024 marks the grand return of the Christmas ice rink in Bordeaux!
It had disappeared from the Pey-Berland square since 2015. For ecological reasons, the City Hall had decided to give up this facility that makes both children and adults dream but consumes excessively. Good news for lovers of end-of-year magic, the Bordeaux Christmas ice rink is returning this year!
It will be set up on the Tourny alleys for a month starting from the end of November, in place of the former Christmas markets (let's remember it has moved permanently to the place des Quinconces). It will be accompanied by 4 little gourmet chalets offering crepes, roasted chestnuts, and hot chocolates to celebrate the efforts of the skaters.
Only one year to enjoy it!
There’s no way we’re giving up on Pierre Hurmic's ecological principles! The ice rink will be recycled to a funfair operator from the Bordeaux Pleasure Fair and will operate with synthetic ice. Enjoy it while you can, because sadly, it won’t be around in 2025 due to the work starting on the Allées de Tourny.
