According to a ranking established by Femme Actuelle, Bordeaux ranks 3rd among the best cities in France to live in as a woman! The women's magazine revealed "cities that love women" in a special feature after an 8-month investigation. The tables are clear: Strasbourg, Rennes, Bordeaux, Lyon, and Nantes are the 5 big winners according to the tables.
A city privileged in terms of health, transportation, and housing
To distinguish the most equal among the 50 largest French municipalities, the magazine based its assessment on data divided into 4 major chapters: healthcare, transportation, housing, and security.
The ministries of the Interior and Health, the CAF, Insee, Citepa, Fubicy, Leboncoin and others have joined forces to provide valuable information on the ideal city for women. According to a study by Femme Actuelle, this perfect city may not exist, especially not for women as it is often planned and built by men. However, some cities are striving to be more female-friendly.Bordeaux is just wonderful and known for its warm invitation to women. However, Perpignan, Antibes, and Troyes aren't quite as welcoming to the ladies in comparison.
