On Saturday, May 24th, at 3:45 PM, all eyes in Bordeaux will be on Cardiff, where Union Bordeaux-Bègles will play the first European final in its history against Northampton. To make the entire city buzz in unison, a giant screen will be set up in Place des Quinconces.

A public gathering in the heart of Bordeaux

The announcement was made on Monday, May 5: the city of Bordeaux is setting up a huge fanzone in the Place des Quinconces, one of the largest in Europe, to allow fans to experience this historic moment. Broadcast live from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the Champions Cup final will see UBB take on the English team from Northampton, who triumphed over Leinster.


A first for UBB, a grand celebration for Bordeaux

After its stunning victory of 35 to 18 against Stade Toulousain, in a sold-out Matmut Atlantique, UBB is enjoying its first European final. The details for accessing the fan zone, as well as the capacity for welcoming fans, will be clarified in the coming days.
