For the second consecutive year, young Adam Siao Him wins the title of European figure skating champion.

Adam Siao Him Fa: The Bordelais who reigns over Europe

The high-flying competition came to an end last Friday in Kaunas, Lithuania. Adam Siao Him Fa achieved a cumulative score of 276.17 points and amazed everyone with the impressive "passe de deux" figure that had not been performed since Alain Calmat did it 60 years ago. He also left a lasting impression with a backflip, a move that is usually banned in competitions.

Born in 2001 in Bordeaux, the local boy is now a two-time French champion (2023 and 2024) and two-time European champion (2023 and 2024) despite a fall and his illegal salto. He thus becomes the French multiple European champion since Brian Joubert and the first to retain his European title since Alain Calmat. He surpasses Estonian Aleksandr Selevko (256.99) and Italian Matteo Rizzo (250.87).
