The Bouscat Pool is Back in Action!

After three long years of being closed, the return of sunny days coincides with the reopening of the municipal pool in Bouscat, right at the gates of Bordeaux. Initially set for July, the grand reopening will now take place on Friday, August 1st. There's just a tiny delay due to the final checks by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Agency, as the pool needs to run “dry” for three weeks.

Two brand-new pools will welcome swimmers: a 25-meter sports pool and a 10-meter learning pool. Maximum capacity: 438 people.

One Month Free for All Residents

To celebrate this return and forget the inconveniences of the construction, August will be free for residents of Bouscat. An online reservation and proof of residency will be required to enjoy the offer. External visitors, on the other hand, will need to pay for their entry as soon as it opens.

Starting from September 2025, the pricing structure will apply to everyone. Expect to pay €3.10 for Bouscat residents (or €24 for 10 entries) and €5.20 for non-residents (or €40 for 10 entries). Prices will see a slight increase, with a 2% annual increase planned.

As for the rules to note: wearing a swim cap is mandatory for everyone, children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult, and a swimming certificate is required for those aged 11 to 14 to come alone.
