A new model under construction
This rise is explained by an improved punctuality (which has earned it the status of the most punctual airport in France), modernized services, and increasing passenger reviews. Bordeaux is also benefiting from a large modernization plan: a new terminal of 21,000 m², connecting halls A and B, is currently under construction (expected to be completed in 2028), featuring 5,000 m² of shops, sustainable architecture, and a redesigned passenger journey. The offerings are also expanding: 30 new routes are being introduced.in the summer of 2025, with direct flights to Montreal, Istanbul, Amsterdam, and also Copenhagen.
