Bordeaux-Paris for €10 with Ouigo

It's official, Ouigo will launch its new low-cost Paris-Bordeaux line starting in April. This new service will connect Bordeaux to Paris-Austerlitz on weekends, with two round trips each week and a travel time of between 5 and 5.5 hours, compared to a bit over 2 hours on a direct TGV.

A New Offer for Weekend Travelers

According to Ouigo, this route will go through Angoulême, Poitiers, Futuroscope, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, and Les Aubrais before arriving at Paris-Austerlitz. The planned schedule includes: a departure from Paris on Friday afternoon, a Bordeaux-Paris trip on Saturday morning, a Paris-Bordeaux trip on Saturday afternoon, and a final Bordeaux-Paris trip on Sunday afternoon.

This offer is designed for leisure travelers, families, or students who prioritize price over travel time.

Unbeatable Prices

On the wallet side, the promise is clear: 10€ to 59€ for adults and 5€ for children. This announcement is part of a broader strategy to expand the Ouigo network. Last November, SNCF confirmed the return of a Lyon-Bordeaux connection in 2027, which will eventually go through Paris, as there was no agreement for a route via the Massif Central.
