During the summer clearance sale, the City of Bordeaux is pulling out all the stops to support local businesses in the city center. From Thursday, July 17 to Saturday, July 19, 2025, a free parking lot with 500 spaces will be exceptionally open at Place des Quinconces, from 10 AM to 10 PM.

The initiative aims to offset the access difficulties caused by the ongoing work on the docks and the stone bridge. The goal is to allow Bordeaux residents and visitors to stroll through the shopping alleys without worrying about parking. Entry and exit will be through the Bristol alleys, supervised by agents tasked with managing the flow of vehicles. It's a temporary and practical setup designed to support these three days of festivities and great deals.
