After the summer break, Sporting Sundays are back in action in Bordeaux. From Sunday, September 6th through October 11th, the City is bringing back its free sports event with 2 exciting new features: a fourth host venue and the special presence of 29 elite athletes from Bordeaux's leading clubs.
4 parks for free sports
The program is expanding this year with the arrival of the Submarine Base park, which joins the Bordeaux Park, the Public Garden and the Botanical Garden.

Every Sunday morning, qualified sports instructors will offer free sessions accessible to all, regardless of participants' level. On the schedule from 10AM to 11AM: adult session with no registration required and from 11AM to 12PM: adult session with no registration needed, and children's session (ages 3 to 9) by registration.
29 Bordeaux champions on hand
To launch this new edition, 29 athletes from high-level clubs will exceptionally take part in the sessions.
Participants will be able to meet athletes from UBB, from Lions of Stade Bordelais Rugby, the Bordeaux Boxers, the USB Water-Polo, the JSA Bordeaux Métropole Basketball, the Burdis of BMV and also Balistik, specialist in 3x3 basketball. The goal is to bring elite sport closer to amateur practice and allow Bordeaux residents to interact directly with these athletes.

The success of the program is undeniable. Between May 10 and July 5, the Sporting Sundays brought together 1,345 participants, including more than 1,100 adults and 230 children.
