Renée Bordeaux opens her shop for an alternative Christmas
To find last-minute gifts or to equip yourself on a small budget with an equally small environmental impact, the Renée association is opening its first pop-up shop for small second-hand electrical and electronic appliances. Located in Bacalan, within the Cité Bleue, the shop will be open from Saturday, December 16 to Tuesday, December 19 from 10AM to 6PM.
Small Household Appliances, Hi-Fi & Multimedia
All the appliances for sale have been recovered, repaired, and refurbished in the Girondin territory by Renée's repairers. You'll find must-have items like raclette and fondue makers, tablets, mixers, irons, hair dryers, speakers, headphones, and some "vintage" gems.
Welcome to the vinyl record player family. Dozens of abandoned products, to which Renée's team gives a new life and a 6-month guarantee to remove any purchasing barriers.
An opportunity to get noticed
The Renée association aims to reduce the waste of electrical and electronic devices, while also raising awareness among consumers about the impact of their consumption. Located in Cenon today, it aims to create its first temporary workshop-boutique by 2024 and eventually expand throughout the Gironde territory.
"In a casual conversation with the team at Cité Bleue, we envisioned this partnership to promote our project to the people of Bacalan" explains Sonia Kremer Genin, founder of the Renée association.
