Ecomatelas, the No. 1 in refurbished bedding in France

Since its creation in 2017, Ecomatelas has established itself as a pioneer in the industry in France, redefining the bedding market with its innovative concept of refurbished mattresses. Founded by Jérémie, an entrepreneur whose family worked in traditional bedding, the company has made its mark thanks to a patented process that gives new life to mattresses from hotels or bedding manufacturers. Upcycling is finally making its way into our bedrooms!

A new mattress that's as clean as new!

The concept is simple yet ingenious: collect mattresses in good condition, disinfect and reassemble their foam or latex cores, then treat them biologically with advanced disinfection technology, ensuring a mattress as clean as new. This process uses heat, UV light, and suction to achieve 99.9% disinfection.

A responsible and economical alternative

Born in Montpellier, the company quickly expanded its network with two stores, the first in its hometown and the second in Île-de-France, already planning a third opening in Toulouse for 2025, with Bordeaux in sight. Ecomatelas offers an economical and responsible alternative to the giants of bedding.

The company's mattresses are offered at 30 to 50% lower prices than new models, while maintaining a quality worthy of exceptional hotels. Expect €299 for a 140x190 mattress, compared to an average of €600 for a new model. The e-commerce site offers 5 mattress references (foam, latex, memory foam, or pocket springs) to meet all expectations, from the softest to the firmest, and allows customers to compare models before their purchase.

A winning bet for both the planet and your wallet!

Besides the economic aspect, Ecomatelas stands out for its ecological commitment: by reusing mattresses and reducing waste, the company actively participates in the fight against waste. The mattresses are 100% made in France and the company employs 15 people in Montpellier, with impressive growth ambitions, aiming to sell over 10,000 mattresses in 2024, which represents a 60% increase in just one year.
