Ampélo Bordeaux: An Oenological Journey Within Reach of All Budgets
A new vintage address! Quite rare in the neighborhood, the Ampélo - like "ampélography" - takes its name from the study of grape varieties. The new multifaceted venue spans 200 m2 between the Tourist Office and the Tourny alleys, on the charming Gobineau street. Conceptual, it hosts the Dock du Vin wine cellar (born in Bordeaux in 2016 at the initiative of the Ballande Group) and offers 600 references to be tasted on site or taken away, for amateurs or connoisseurs.
There's no question of this neighborhood wine cellar only catering to the elite. Targeting the general public, Ampélo Bordeaux offers a true oenological journey accessible to all in the city center.

Fine Wines Served by the Glass in Complete Freedom
Here, quality is key, with a wide selection of Fine Wines served by the glass that can be enjoyed by self-serving with Enomatics. A delightful experience where the finest wines are accessible to all. All the wines in the cellar can be tasted on-site (or taken home starting from €4 per bottle).
To accompany the glasses, the venue has curated gourmet products from the region such as tapas boards, must-haves from the Arcachon Bay, vegetarian spreads, pâté from the Landes region, and locally aged cheeses.

Delights & Entertainment
With a heart full of joy, the teams have carefully crafted a stellar lineup of events. Every Thursday, Ampélo hosts different experiences, tastings, and masterclasses. An ode to wine and its producers, there will be plenty of opportunities for meetings and exchanges with the gems of our winemakers, sommeliers, and distilleries...
Open from Tuesday to Saturday, non-stop from 11am to 10pm, Ampélo Bordeaux also caters to private events. A total of 75 guests are invited to a gourmet and fruity escapade where the Saint-Nectar reigns supreme.
