From May 22nd to June 1st, the Quai de Richelieu is transforming into a crossroads of Latin American cultures. The association Latino Mex, the organizer of the event, promises a joyful, accessible, and free immersion, right across from the Eco-Citizens’ House and the Cailhau Gate. On the agenda: exhilarating rhythms, exotic flavors, sensual dances, and a friendly atmosphere from the afternoon until nightfall.

Evenings filled with rhythm to dance until the end of the docks
Every day, the docks resonate with the sounds of Esenciales de la Sierra, a Mexican group with norteño-sierreño vibes, truly the musical thread of this edition. Alongside them, other artists add color to the evenings: the singer Asís, whose voice flows between pop and Latin reggae, the open-air Latin electro on Wednesdays, the warm voice of Ema Flores accompanied by salsa and street rumba, and the Peruvian dances that rise into the air on Friday nights. On Saturday, the village dresses in the colors of Argentina, featuring passionate tango, singing, and DJ sets. Finally, Sunday, June 1st promises a spectacular finale with a Lucha Libre show, an authentic Mexican wrestling spectacle, as acrobatic as it is theatrical.

The Latino Village offers more than just dancing. Visitors can wander among the craft stands, attend cultural workshops, or savor traditional dishes from all over the continent: tacos, ceviches, empanadas, refreshing drinks… A feast for the senses, designed as a bridge between cultures.
This event is part of the Latin American and Caribbean Weeks 2025 (SALC 2025), a national initiative celebrating the diversity of Latino-Caribbean cultures. The Latino Mex association advocates for a supportive, intercultural, and festive approach, aiming to shine a light on traditions while fostering connections between people.
