For the first time in his career, Sean Paul includes Bordeaux in his international Rise Jamaica Tour. The global dancehall star is expected in May 2026 at the Arkéa Arena. 

Born in Kingston to a family with Portuguese, English, African, and Jamaican roots, Sean Paul discovers music from a young age. Before dedicating himself fully to music, he shines as a professional swimmer, even representing Jamaica. By the late 1990s, he fully turns to dancehall and quickly establishes himself as one of its major figures.

A superstar with billions of streams

His fame skyrockets in the early 2000s with legendary hits, including “Gimme the Light” and “Get Busy”, which top international charts. His unique style, mixing dancehall, reggae, pop, and hip-hop , captivates a global audience.

The star then goes on to collaborate on big hits, including: Beyoncé with “Baby Boy” (2003), Sia with “Cheap Thrills” (2016), and Dua Lipa with “No Lie” (2016). His raspy voice, signature flow, and irresistible beats have earned him billions of streams and a spot among the most influential artists of the last two decades.

A Historic First in Bordeaux

Despite a remarkable international career spanning over twenty years, Sean Paul had never performed in Bordeaux until now. Tickets are available starting from €55 and they are already flying off the shelves.
