Garorock, the festival of the South-West, has just been crowned the best festival in Europe. The news came out on Tuesday evening: the festival in Marmande has triumphed over giants of the European music scene and confirms its status as a major event on the cultural calendar.

A new trophy for Garorock

Already nominated in the category of Best Festival Experience — where it snagged a wonderful 2nd placeGarorock has now earned the ultimate distinction. This award adds to a series of accolades that mark its journey:

  • Best very large festival and Best partner village in 2024
  • Best festival for over 60,000 festival-goers in 2022

Each &The edition now attracts nearly 150,000 festival-goers from all over France and beyond. This success, the result of almost 30 years of history, is thanks to its eclectic programming, strong local roots, and the creativity of its team. And while there were rumors about a possible relocation of the event, the news was quickly denied by the Agglomeration: the Garorock festival will indeed remain in Marmande for its 30th edition.
